 Educational Requirements

  • HSC or equivalent.

 Experience Requirements

  • At least 3-5 year(s) in Housekeeping function as Supervisor.

 Job Responsibilities

  • To be responsible for the Housekeeping services within a designated specialty in a manner that ensures compliance with international standards of care and JCI standards for Quality and Patient Safety. The Supervisor is to maintain Evercare Hospital Dhaka in a clean and sanitary manner providing a healthy environment for patients, doctors, staff and visitors and responsible for the infection control, waste management, personal hygiene and patient safety. The supervisor works together with the laundry supervisor to ensure a smooth operation.
  • Coordinate the housekeeping operation on day to day basis,
  • Establish training programs which will enable positions of increased responsibility to be filled within the department,
  • Maintain strict inventory and purchase control,
  • Maintenance of non medical furniture in the hospital,
  • Maintain and supervise deep cleaning schedule,
  • Maintain and supervise general cleaning schedule,
  • Control and supervise pest control cleaning schedule,
  • Justifies and verifies pest control clean chemical which has been used,
  • Justifies and verifies deep and general cleaning chemical which has been used,
  • Maintain the hygiene & cleanliness level in the IP and OPD’s wards,
  • Coordinates with the nurses on daily operational matter and follow up if the required standards are maintained,
  • To ensure and an adequate supply of clean linen,
  • To ensure rooms are checked regularly for repairs and refurbishing and that appropriate maintains are effected,
  • To ensure that the staffing levels are correct and to agreed standards on each shift,
  • To maintaining daily and ready room checklist,
  • To insure that adequate supplies of cleaning materials are available,
  • To develop and maintained a maintenance for all rooms and public areas,
  • To delegate duties and responsibilities to the subordinates in the department.

Technical Competencies

  • Computer operating knowledge is must.
  • Should have sound knowledge in English.

Behavioral Competencies

  • International house keeping experience is a must.
  • Willing to work at flexible and long hours.
  • Good interpersonal skills and willing to work under pressure.
  • Must be hard working and team oriented.
