Educational Requirements
- MD/FCPS in Medicine .MRCP/Diploma also preferably
Experience Requirements
- 1-2 years
Job Responsibilities
- The initial assessment of all admitted under the care of accident & Emergency Department as per hospital policy and ordering of investigation and treatment as per the clinical requirement
- All the assessments and reassessment are conducted recorded in the patients’ Medical records in the appropriate sections
- Will participate in different clinical Codes like BLS, ACLS, ATLS etc
- Monitor the quality of care in the department and help carry out any necessary changes.
- Plans and conducts orientation program for new physician
- Privileged to administer moderate sedation in accident & emergency Department
- Attend to critically ill or traumatized patients in Resus Room, review cases in Observation Room.
- Help to ensure continued Physician coverage in the department.
- He/She is responsible for implementing and maintaining other practices and protocols of PCI as per Hospital PCI policy
