Educational Requirements

• BSc./MSc.in nursing (Advanced Certificate Course in Infection Control Nursing will be an added advantage for the candidate)

 Experience Requirements

• Three years nursing experience .One year experience of working in critical care or operation theater.

 Job Responsibilities

• Makes rounds of hospital units for the purpose of i.Identifying and monitoring specified Healthcare Associated Infections, ii. Performing targeted surveillanceiii. monitoring of infection control practices, such as hand hygiene, personal protective equipment usage, medical wastes, infectious disease exposures, and exposure to blood borne pathogens and other related patient care issues..
• Collects, monitors, and maintains records and data pertinent to surveillance
• Plans hospital’s Infection Control activity and reviews annually.
• Collaborates with other departments and personnel to provide service in a way that reduces the risk of spread of infections.
• Provides training on infection control to all employees in the hospital appropriate to their activity.

• Valid Registration from Bangladesh Nursing and Midwife Council (Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife)
