 Educational Requirements

  • M.Sc / B.Sc in Nursing.

 Experience Requirements

  • 5-10 years experience as clinical nursing and nursing tutor.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Promote Nursing Services:
  • Help the Lead Nurse Trainer and Clinical Nurse Trainer organizes and plans nursing care activates of a special department / hospital according to hospital policies and service needs.
  • Providing advice on improvement in nursing practice.
  • Conduct to give evaluation to nurses
  • Helps in checking exam/evaluation paper of nurses.
  • Analyzing & evaluating effectiveness of nursing care as well as making suitable recommendations.
  • Ensure that a high standard of care is maintained at all times.
  • Administrative Services:
  • Coordinate Hospital and Nursing Services rules and regulations through various nursing unit.
  • Help to ensure the safe and efficient care rendered by nurses in the various wards and departments.
  • Makes regular rounds in hospital wards.
  • Helps to check the standard of care is maintained and patients are nursed in a clean, orderly and safe environment.
  • Participates in hospital and intra-hospital meetings and conferences.
  • Helps to develop a plan of programmes and arranges for in-service education and orientation programmes.
  • General Correspondence:
  • Interprets the hospital and Nursing policy to the nursing staff.
  • Help to arrange the rotation for Nursing and Non Nursing staff Supervisors for service and education.
  • Attends in general correspondence.
  • Maintains necessary records concerning the nursing staff, confidential reports, etc.
  • Participates in professional and community activities.
  • Performs all other tasks as required by the department.
